Khanh Hoa reports 11.21% GRDP growth for first nine months of 2026
Khanh Hoa province reported positive socio-economic results for the third quarter of 2026. The regional Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) for the third quarter is estimated to have increased by 10.66%, bringing the nine-month cumulative growth to 11.21% compared to the same period last year. This performance ranks the province 8th among 34 provinces and cities in Vietnam and leads the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.
Key growth drivers included the industrial and construction sector, which rose by 17.45%, and the service sector, which grew by 9.65%. Additionally, tourism revenue increased by 21%, and export turnover rose by 10.5%. State budget revenue for the first nine months reached approximately 36,916 billion VND, representing 98.1% of the annual target.
Despite these gains, challenges remain. The industrial production index grew by only 7.8%, falling short of the 11.5% annual target. Authorities noted the need to disburse over 4,600 billion VND in public investment capital during the fourth quarter to maintain momentum.
