Khatija Rahman calls first Kodaikanal visit rejuvenating

Khatija Rahman, daughter of Oscar‑winning composer A.R. Rahman, posted on Instagram about her first trip to the hill station of Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu. She described the scenery—colorful flowers, steep mountain rides and striking blue blossoms—as refreshing and wrote, “God is great, nature heals.”

The singer also highlighted recent professional work, noting her vocal contribution to the song “Until We Meet Again” for the Arabic film Baab, directed by UAE filmmaker Nayla Al Khaja with music by her father. She has also composed music for the Tamil film Minmini, collaborating with director Halitha Shameem and describing the project as an emotional journey about survivor guilt. Earlier, her music video “Farishton” earned several awards, including Best Animation Music Video at the International Sound Future Awards, an honor credited to A.R. Rahman but publicly acknowledged as her creation.
