Khatu Shyamji monthly fair begins in Sikar, Rajasthan

The two-day monthly fair has commenced at the Khatu Shyamji religious site in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. On the first day, coinciding with Papankusha Ekadashi, large queues of devotees formed in the early morning hours to seek blessings.

To mark the occasion, the deity was decorated with a colorful arrangement of flowers. The Shri Shyam Temple Committee, along with local administration and police, has implemented various arrangements to manage the influx of pilgrims arriving from different parts of the country and to ensure smooth movement through the temple premises and major routes.

The monthly fair is held every month during the Shukla Paksha Ekadashi and Dwadashi. In addition to the prayers, various devotional singing programs (Bhajan Sandhyas) are scheduled for the evening during the two-day event.
