Khavda Renewable Energy Park receives dedicated PIN code

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Kutch, Gujarat, has been assigned a dedicated postal index number (PIN) code, 370246, along with its own India Post delivery office. This development provides the hub with a distinct geographic identity as it evolves from a sparsely populated area into a major center of economic and strategic importance.

The new facility will offer services including Speed Post, parcel delivery, Post Office Savings Bank products, and India Post Payments Bank services, such as Aadhaar-enabled digital banking. Previously, postal services for the area were routed through offices located approximately 70 km away.

The expansion of the park, which includes over 10 GW of operational renewable energy capacity by Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has led to a growing workforce and the development of residential townships. The dedicated PIN code is expected to improve serviceability for banking, insurance, logistics, and e-commerce for businesses and residents at the site.
