Khawaja Asif criticizes PTI over Imran Khan relief

Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party regarding its reaction to recent judicial relief for its founder, Imran Khan. Asif noted that the party's celebrations reflect an intense desire to secure a Non-Objection Certificate (NRO) for Khan to facilitate his release from prison.

Asif highlighted what he described as contradictions in the PTI's narrative. He pointed out that while Khan previously demanded the imprisonment and increased hardship of political opponents, the party is now pleading for his transfer from prison to a hospital. While the Defense Minister stated there is no objection to providing Khan with immediate and complete medical facilities, he urged the party to address these ideological inconsistencies.

Asif concluded his remarks by offering prayers for Imran Khan's recovery from his illnesses.
