KHDA launches FutuReady framework for Dubai students

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched the ‘FutuReady Framework’ in Dubai, establishing nine new standards for academic and career guidance in educational institutions. The framework is designed to support students from their early years through graduation, focusing on adaptability and transferable skills to prepare them for a rapidly changing employment landscape.

Recognizing that many future jobs do not yet exist, the standards emphasize experiential learning, labor market insights, and the use of digital and artificial intelligence-enabled guidance. The initiative also includes provisions for inclusive, student-centered support, specifically for students of determination, and encourages family and community engagement.

The framework aligns with Dubai’s long-term economic and educational goals, including the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Education 33 Strategy, to develop the talent necessary to support the emirate’s economic ambitions.
