KHF 2026 showcases AI-driven medical diagnostics and digital health technologies
At the KHF 2026 International Hospital and Health Tech Expo, medical technology companies showcased advancements in AI-driven diagnostics and digital healthcare.
Vieworks announced the commercialization of its VISQUE DPS digital pathology slide scanner, which integrates AI to automate pathology testing. The company aims to capture over 8% of the global market within five years. The scanner utilizes deep learning to eliminate focus errors caused by dust or bubbles, achieving a focus registration rate of 99%. Vieworks is also developing predictive AI to monitor slide transport via robotic arms to ensure continuous, unmanned operation.
Additionally, the ‘Daewoong Alliance’ pavilion featured solutions from 12 digital healthcare companies focusing on prevention, prediction, personalization, and participation. Featured technologies included wearable blood pressure monitors that function without cuffs, AI-powered retinal scanning for rapid disease detection, and lightweight wearable robots to assist stroke patients with mobility. Other innovations included AI ECG analysis for heart disease and EMG patches for muscle activity monitoring.
