Khánh Hòa hosts international conference on cruise tourism development

The Khánh Hòa Provincial People's Committee, in collaboration with the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, organized the International Conference on Cruise Tourism Development in Khánh Hòa. The event aimed to evaluate current conditions, exchange experiences, and propose strategic solutions to promote the cruise tourism segment, which is a key strength for the local and national tourism industries.

Nha Trang - Khánh Hòa is establishing itself as a leading maritime and marine tourism hub in the region through synchronized seaport infrastructure and strategies to attract major international cruise lines. According to a report by Mastercard Economics Institute, Nha Trang - Khánh Hòa ranked 11th in the Top 15 leading global summer tourism destinations, surpassing several famous coastal cities in the region.

From the beginning of 2026 to date, Khánh Hòa has welcomed 38 international cruise ships, bringing 60,463 tourists ashore, which is double the total number of visitors for the entire year of 2025.
