Khánh Hòa police investigate fatal hotel stabbing and fall

Police in Khánh Hòa province are investigating a fatal incident at the Nhật Lệ Hotel on Ngọc Hân Công Chúa Street in Nha Trang. Preliminary investigations suggest that a man, identified as Ng. H. P. (49), and a woman, T. T. T. (46) from Ho Chi Minh City, had been staying in a second-floor room together since October 30.

Authorities report that a conflict occurred between the two individuals during their stay. On the evening of November 2, P. allegedly stabbed T. T. T. multiple times with a pair of scissors, resulting in her death. In the early hours of November 3, P. attempted to flee the hotel by climbing to a fourth-floor balcony and descending via external cables. During the escape, he fell approximately 10 meters to the sidewalk, sustaining serious injuries. He was subsequently transported to Khánh Hòa General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Local police and criminal investigation units have cordoned off the scene and are collecting evidence to clarify the motive and circumstances of the crime.
