Khofifah Indar Parawansa receives LVRI Star award

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa was awarded the LVRI Star during the 2026 National Veteran Day commemorations in Malang Regency. The award recognizes her commitment to the Indonesian Legion of Veterans (LVRI).

Khofifah noted that the honor serves as a mandate to continue the spirit of the veterans' struggle in a modern context. She emphasized that while past struggles involved physical combat, contemporary efforts should focus on combating poverty, ignorance, and misinformation to maintain national unity.
