KHS Group retains EcoVadis platinum sustainability medal

The KHS Group has earned the EcoVadis platinum medal for the second consecutive year, the highest distinction awarded by the sustainability rating organization. The company, a specialist in filling and packaging lines, achieved a global score of 89 out of 100, marking an improvement over its previous year's result.

This rating places KHS among the top 1% of the more than 175,000 companies evaluated annually by EcoVadis. The assessment covers four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. KHS showed significant progress in the category regarding external commitments, which evaluates a company's support for international sustainable development initiatives and principles.

Nicole Pohl, senior ESG manager at KHS, noted that achieving this result in an evolving system with increasingly stringent requirements is a major success for the team. The company utilizes the EcoVadis rating as a benchmark to measure sustainability performance within the context of market competition and to provide transparent progress reports to stakeholders.
