Khushi Kapoor to star in Mom 2, sequel slated for November 2026

Indian actress Khushi Kapoor, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor, will headline Mom 2, the sequel to the 2017 thriller Mom that featured the late Sridevi. Filming has taken place in Noida and Greece, and the producers plan a theatrical release in November 2026.

The new film is not a direct continuation of the original story but will present a fresh narrative centered on strong female protagonists and a quest for justice. The cast includes Karishma Tanna and Jisshu Sengupta, with Girish Kohli directing. Mom 2 is positioned as a tribute to Sridevi’s legacy and a potential career breakthrough for Khushi Kapoor.
