Khuzestan border terminals record over 4 million passenger movements

More than 4 million passengers have passed through the border terminals of Khuzestan province since the beginning of the current year. According to Fouad Ghazaali, the Deputy of Transport for the Khuzestan Road Maintenance and Transportation Department, the total number of recorded movements through the Shalamcheh and Chazzabeh terminals reached 4,054,007.

Shalamcheh remains the busiest border in the province, recording 3,301,030 passengers. This includes 1,262,089 Iranian entries, 1,260,019 Iranian exits, 355,139 foreign entries, and 423,603 foreign exits.

The Chazzabeh terminal recorded 752,977 passengers, consisting of 261,035 Iranian entries, 287,935 Iranian exits, 92,058 foreign entries, and 111,949 foreign exits.
