Ki Kusumo receives PARFI flag following leadership dispute resolution

Ki Kusumo has officially received the Pataka, the official flag of the Indonesian Film Artists Association (PARFI), marking the conclusion of a leadership dispute. The handover follows a court ruling that upheld the leadership results from the 18th PARFI Congress.

Legal representative Eka Wandoro Dahlan stated that Ki Kusumo is the recognized Chairperson for the 2025–2030 period. The legal team emphasized that the Pataka and congress documentation are reserved exclusively for the organizationally recognized leader.

The central leadership, now based at the H. Usmar Ismail Film Center in Jakarta, has issued a warning against unauthorized groups using PARFI names, symbols, or uniforms. The organization noted that several regional activities, including meetings and inaugurations, have been conducted without central authorization. The legal team warned that unauthorized use of the organization's identity may result in civil or criminal legal action.
