Kia launches new generation Seltos SUV in China and Vietnam

Kia has launched the new generation of its Seltos SUV in the Chinese market, featuring updated dimensions and advanced technology. The new model measures 4,460mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,640mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690mm, representing an increase in size over the previous generation to improve passenger space.

In China, the vehicle is offered with two engine options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine paired with an IVT transmission, and a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A notable interior feature for the Chinese market is a 27-inch ultra-thin horizontal screen that includes 12 built-in games, allowing for in-car entertainment via touch or Bluetooth controllers.

The updated Seltos also features a redesigned exterior with a larger vertical-pattern grille and Star-Map LED headlights. In Vietnam, the 2027 model is highlighted for its improved interior space, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and enhanced cargo capacity, which can expand to 1,454 liters with the rear seats folded.
