Kia launches refreshed XCeed crossover in Slovenia

Kia has introduced a refreshed version of its XCeed model to the Slovenian market. The vehicle sits between a wagon and a compact SUV, measuring 4.38 m in length and 1.495 m in height, making it lower than rivals such as the Mazda CX‑30, Hyundai Kona and Citroën C4. It offers a 426‑litre boot that expands to 1,378 litres with the rear seats folded.

The new XCeed is equipped with two 12.3‑inch digital displays – one on the steering wheel and one centrally – and a suite of smart equipment including navigation, electronic parking brake, parking sensors, rain sensor and a driver‑monitoring camera. The optional Active package adds radar‑based cruise control and passenger‑seat‑height adjustment. Powertrains include a 1.0‑litre 115 hp engine with a manual gearbox, a mild‑hybrid version and a 1.6‑litre unit available in 150 hp or 180 hp, all paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission. The 150‑hp engine with Active equipment is expected to be the most popular. Prices start at €23,849.
