Kia launches second‑generation Seltos SUV across Europe
Kia has introduced the second generation of its global best‑selling Seltos compact SUV to European markets, ending a long period where the model was unavailable in the region. The launch includes Germany and Spain, where the vehicle will compete with rivals such as the VW T‑Roc, Nissan Qashqai and Skoda Karoq.
The new Seltos retains the spacious interior the model is known for, offering 536 litres of boot space (1 511 litres with the rear seat folded) and a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster plus a 12.3‑inch central infotainment screen. Styling cues from Kia’s electric line—such as the Star Map lighting signature—give the SUV a modern look while it remains a conventional internal‑combustion model, with gasoline and mild‑hybrid powertrains available. Trim levels for Spain include Concept, Drive, GT‑Line and X‑Line, with optional features like ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, Digital Key 2, AI‑driven voice assistant and a suite of driver‑aid systems (adaptive cruise, lane‑keeping, 360° camera, remote parking).
