Kia introduced the new Seltos compact SUV to the German market for the summer, pricing it from €34,190. Positioned as a family‑friendly alternative to models such as the VW T‑Roc and Toyota C‑HR, the Seltos offers a wheelbase of 2.69 m, adjustable rear‑seat backrests and a cargo capacity ranging from 536 L to 1,511 L.
Standard equipment includes climate‑controlled front seats, heated rear seats, a panoramic roof and a comprehensive driver‑assistance suite that monitors distance, lane position and cross‑traffic, and can execute automated parking. Optional all‑wheel drive is available for an extra €2,000.
Under the hood, a 1.6‑liter turbocharged four‑cylinder delivers 132 kW (180 hp) and 265 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox. The Seltos accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 8.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 208 km/h.
