Kia introduced its first midsize pickup, the Tasman, to the Argentine market at a launch event in Pilar's Tasman Park. The model is offered in three trims – EX with a 2.5 L TGDI gasoline engine, EX with a 2.2 L CRDI turbo‑diesel, and the off‑road‑focused X‑Pro – all paired with an eight‑speed automatic transmission and selectable 4×4 modes (2H, 4A, 4H, 4L).

The Tasman measures 5,410 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width and up to 1,920 mm in height, with a 3,270 mm wheelbase. It can carry up to 1,068 kg and tow 3,500 kg, and the X‑Pro version adds all‑terrain tires, an electronic rear‑differential lock and a dedicated X‑TREK mode for low‑grip surfaces. Standard equipment across the range includes a dual‑digital instrument cluster, 12.3‑inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless integration, keyless entry with remote start, adaptive cruise control and a suite of ADAS safety features. The Tasman received a five‑star ANCAP safety rating.
