Kia launches Tasman pickup in Argentina

Kia Argentina introduced the Tasman, the brand's first pickup, targeting the mid‑size segment. Developed over five years, the model first appeared in Australia in 2025 and is now offered locally in three trims: the gasoline‑powered EX at US$57,500, the diesel EX at US$58,500, and the higher‑spec X‑Pro at US$79,000, all equipped with an eight‑speed automatic and selectable 4×4 with rear‑diff lock.

The Tasman measures 5.41 m long, 1.93 m wide and 1.92 m high, with a 3.27 m wheelbase, a payload capacity of 1,058 kg and a towing rating of 3,500 kg. Inside, it features dual 12.3‑inch screens, physical controls for key functions, and premium equipment such as a 360 ° camera on the X‑Pro version. Pre‑sale activity has been strong, with roughly 30 % of orders for the EX‑PRO and 70 % for the EX variants, according to Lucas Budman, Kia Argentina’s Commercial and Product Marketing Manager.
