Kia refreshes XCeed compact crossover with redesign

Kia has introduced a refreshed version of the XCeed, a compact crossover designed to balance urban usability with a more rugged orientation. The update features a significant exterior redesign following the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, including a new bonnet, reprofiled front bumper, signature ‘tiger nose’ grille, and reshaped headlamps. The rear has also been updated with a new bumper and a distinctive LED light strip connecting the taillights.

While the vehicle's dimensions remain largely unchanged at approximately 4.38 meters in length, the front overhang has been reduced by 15 mm to create a more agile stance. The interior has been upgraded with a focus on ergonomic simplicity and higher perceived quality.

Powertrain options include petrol and mild-hybrid engines. In Spain, pricing for the 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol variant starts at €19,860. Other available engines include a 1.6-litre T-GDI unit with outputs of 150 bhp and 180 bhp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The XCeed sits within a crowded Kia SUV lineup alongside models such as the Niro, Seltos, EV3, and Sportage.
