Kia refreshes XCeed crossover with new tech, price from €19,860

Kia has launched an update of its XCeed C‑segment crossover, adding a redesigned front and rear, a new dashboard, upgraded upholstery, a two‑spoke steering wheel and a new gear selector. The multimedia system now features a digital instrument cluster and a 12.3‑inch central touchscreen, works with Kia Connect and the Kia App, includes Digital Key 2.0 and a wireless phone charger. Safety equipment has been expanded with driver‑assist functions such as road‑driving assistant, blind‑spot monitoring, rear‑cross‑traffic collision prevention, automatic emergency braking that detects vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, a driver‑monitoring camera and parking‑assist aids. The rear suspension and noise‑vibration isolation have been revised for better ride comfort, and the Normal and Sport driving modes have been recalibrated. Engine options remain gasoline‑only: a 1.0 T‑GDI 115 hp unit available with a six‑speed manual or a seven‑speed DCT mild‑hybrid, and a 1.6 T‑GDI offered in 150 hp or 180 hp automatic versions. The basic Drive trim with the 115 hp manual is priced from 19 860 euros.
