Kia reports divergent sales trends in Colombia and Tunisia

Kia has experienced significant growth in the Antioquia region of Colombia, where vehicle registrations rose by 39.8% during the first nine months of 2026. The manufacturer recorded 5,079 new registrations in the territory, moving from fourth to third place in regional sales volume. This growth coincides with the company's participation in the Expocar 2026 fair in Medellín, where it showcased 12 models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

In contrast, Kia's performance in Tunisia shows a different trend. While new vehicle registrations grew by 2% to 4,764 units, revenues for the Tunisian dealer City Car fell by 14.2% to 232.918 MDT. Management attributed this to a “mix effect,” where a 43.5% surge in sales of more affordable, popular models led to higher volume but lower overall revenue. Additionally, net financial charges in Tunisia increased by 43.5% compared to the same period in 2025.
