Kia Soluto prices drop below 300 million VND in Vietnam

Thaco Auto has launched a promotion for the Kia Soluto in Vietnam, offering a 46 million VND discount during October. This reduction brings the effective price of the B-segment sedan down to between 299 million and 329 million VND, depending on the version.

The current lineup includes only the MT and Deluxe versions, both featuring a 5-speed manual transmission. Previous automatic transmission models are no longer listed in the current product catalog. This pricing strategy places the Soluto in a competitive bracket alongside mini electric vehicles such as the Wuling Macaron and Bestune Xiaoma 222.

Other competitors in the B-segment sedan market are also offering discounts. The Hyundai Accent features incentives up to 89 million VND, the Toyota Vios has reductions between 46 and 54 million VND, and the Mitsubishi Attrage sees discounts ranging from 24.5 to 38 million VND. Despite the aggressive pricing, the Kia Soluto faces challenges due to shifting consumer demand away from sedans and intense competition from models like the Honda City and Toyota Vios.
