Kia Sonet prices drop in Vietnam to 436 million VND

The Kia Sonet is experiencing a significant price reduction in the Vietnamese market. For the third consecutive month, dealers have lowered prices, with the entry-level 1.5L AT version now being offered at approximately 436 million VND. This represents a substantial decrease from its initial launch price of 499 million VND in September 2025.

While the official listed price for the 1.5L AT version is 450 million VND, some northern region dealers are offering it for 436 million VND, a further 3 million VND drop from the previous month. Other versions, such as the Deluxe and Luxury trims, are receiving direct incentives from THACO of up to 12 million VND.

The price cuts come as the automotive market enters the year-end shopping season. Kia Sonet has maintained strong sales performance compared to its competitors; in September 2026, it sold 653 units, significantly outpacing the Hyundai Venue (46 units) and Suzuki Fronx (62 units). Total sales for the Sonet in Vietnam reached 5,792 units in the first nine months of 2026.
