Kia Sonet sees significant price reductions at Vietnamese dealerships

Various dealerships in Vietnam are offering substantial discounts on Kia Sonet models to clear remaining inventory. In Hanoi, the top-tier Premium VIN 2025 version is being sold for 539 million VND, a 45 million VND reduction from its 584 million VND list price. This brings its cost in line with the Hyundai Venue Special edition.

Discounts vary across different versions and locations. The Luxury trim has seen reductions of up to 52 million VND at certain dealerships, while the entry-level 1.5L AT model is being offered for approximately 436 million VND in Northern Vietnam. These promotional prices are specific to individual dealerships and may differ in cities like Ho Chi Minh City.

Kia Sonet has maintained a strong market position, with THACO delivering 653 units in September, significantly outpacing competitors such as the Suzuki Fronx and Hyundai Venue. Cumulative sales for the first three quarters of 2026 reached 5,792 units.
