Kia Sportage sees new design leaks and high fuel efficiency results
The Kia Sportage continues to draw significant attention through both upcoming design developments and current fuel efficiency performance. Spy photos of the 2028 model suggest a shift toward a more robust, geometric, and muscular aesthetic. The new design features a vertical front end, a wide grille, and vertical light clusters, drawing comparisons to the styling of the Range Rover Sport.
In terms of current performance, the Kia Sportage hybrid equipped with factory LPG has demonstrated exceptional fuel economy. In real-world testing, the 237-horsepower SUV achieved consumption as low as 4.6 liters per 100 km when optimized for economy. Utilizing LPG allows for significantly lower operating costs compared to standard gasoline or diesel engines, with a large 52-liter LPG tank enabling a total driving range of up to 1,500 kilometers under ideal conditions.
