VinFast expands electric motorcycle network and launches new models in Indonesia

VinFast announced the opening of 20 official e‑motorcycle dealerships across Indonesia, with grand‑opening events in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Medan, Palembang, Makassar and other major cities from 19 to 25 July 2026. The same rollout coincided with the launch of three electric motorcycle models – the Evo, Feliz II and Viper – priced between IDR 17.5 million and 22 million and offered with purchase, battery‑leasing or full‑subscription options. The company also revealed plans to begin local assembly of its e‑motorcycles at a new plant in Subang, West Java, slated for 2027, shifting from fully built‑up imports to CKD production. Together with an expanding network of battery‑swapping stations and service centres, the moves target Indonesia’s 290 million‑person two‑wheel market and the government’s goal of 13 million electric motorcycles by 2030.
