Kia unveils next-generation Seltos Hybrid at Paris Motor Show

Kia has unveiled the next-generation Seltos Hybrid at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking the model's debut in the European market. The compact SUV, measuring 4.43 meters in length, is positioned between the Stonic and the Sportage in the company's lineup.

The new generation features a more angular design inspired by Kia's electric vehicle range, such as the EV5 and EV9. Inside, the cabin includes a dual-screen digital setup and a 536-liter trunk. A notable feature is the inclusion of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology on certain trims, which is a first for a non-plug-in hybrid vehicle in this segment.

Two hybrid powertrain configurations are available. The front-wheel-drive version utilizes a 1.6L gasoline engine paired with an electric motor and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing 154 hp and achieving a fuel consumption of 5.4 L/100 km (WLTP). The e-AWD version uses an electric motor to power the rear axle, providing 178 hp and a fuel consumption of 5.8 L/100 km (WLTP).
