Kia updates XCeed compact crossover with new design and engines

Kia has updated its XCeed compact crossover, introducing aesthetic and mechanical changes to its lineup. The redesign follows the ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, featuring a more refined exterior with a new grille, redesigned bumpers, and updated lighting signatures that mimic the brand’s electric models. The vehicle’s dimensions have been slightly adjusted, measuring 4.38 meters in length.

Internally, the XCeed receives a new dashboard featuring dual 12.3-inch screens, a revised steering wheel, and improved upholstery quality. Technological features include Kia Connect and various Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go.

Mechanically, Kia has removed the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option from the range. The new lineup focuses on gasoline and 48V micro-hybrid engines, including a 1.0 T-GDi (115 CV) and 1.6 T-GDi options (150 and 180 CV). While the standard trunk capacity remains 426 liters, the micro-hybrid version offers 380 liters due to the placement of the 48V battery. Prices range from 27,990 to 38,790 euros, with promotional rates starting as low as 19,860 euros.
