Kia updates XCeed design and expands EV9 electric SUV range

Kia has announced updates to its vehicle lineup, including a refresh of the XCeed and an expansion of the EV9 electric SUV range.

The Kia XCeed, a compact crossover, receives its second major update since its 2019 launch. The refresh includes a modernized exterior design with changes to the hood, bumpers, grille, and lighting signature. Inside, the cabin features higher-quality materials and upgraded technology, including a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen and a new digital instrument cluster. Mechanical options include a 1.0 T-GDI engine producing 115 CV and a mild-hybrid version with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Additionally, the Kia EV9 electric SUV is expanding its 2027 lineup to include more diverse trim levels and performance options. New trim levels such as Air and Earth aim to lower the entry price, which now starts below €66,000. The lineup also introduces a high-performance GT variant delivering 509 CV, addressing previous criticisms regarding the model's limited initial offerings.
