Kia XCeed receives European‑focused refresh with mild‑hybrid ICE options
Kia has introduced an updated XCeed model aimed primarily at European buyers. The vehicle is assembled in Slovakia and its chassis has been tuned for local road conditions. While the range retains internal‑combustion engines, a 48‑volt mild‑hybrid system assists the smallest 1.0‑liter unit, delivering 85 kW (115 hp) with a manual gearbox. Larger 1.0‑liter three‑cylinder engines produce 110 kW (150 hp) or 132 kW (180 hp) and are paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch automatic. No plug‑in hybrid or diesel options are offered. Kia positions the XCeed as a practical, higher‑seated alternative for customers who prefer conventional ICE power over full electrification, especially in the Slovene market where such engines remain popular.
