Kian84 to star in new SBS reality show exploring AI dating

SBS is set to premiere a new reality dating show, ‘My AI Partner - Kian84’s Love,’ on the 20th at 9 PM. The program features celebrities Kian84, Jang Do-yeon, and Lee Yu-bi as they engage in dating experiments with artificial intelligence partners to explore the potential for emotional connection with machines.

Kian84, a webtoon artist and entertainer, will interact with an AI named Ga-hee, who was designed to mirror the visual and personality traits of a character from his famous webtoon, ‘Bokhakwang.’ Despite initial skepticism regarding the possibility of feeling emotions for a machine, Kian84 reportedly experienced unexpected emotional shifts during activities like cycling and picnicking at the Han River.

Jang Do-yeon will participate in a ‘2:1 AI blind date’ featuring two distinct AI personalities, ‘Il-ho’ and ‘Lee-ho.’ The show aims to observe the spectrum of human emotions—including excitement, jealousy, and confusion—that arise when interacting with AI-driven romantic partners.
