Contestants Kiara Lord and Dávid Petra have discussed their strategic approach and experiences during the filming of the reality show Asia Express. The pair described themselves as one of the most tactical teams in the competition, noting that they often had to manipulate situations to ensure their own safety and decide which other contestants to eliminate.

Lord and Petra also addressed the physical and environmental hardships of the show, including difficult sleeping conditions and the challenges of hitchhiking. They noted that they had initially expected being a female duo might provide an advantage during travel, but found the process to be quite difficult.

During a recent press conference for the new season, tensions arose when footage was played showing the pair criticizing other contestants. Specifically, they made comments regarding chef Frigyes Vomberg, suggesting his age might disadvantage his partner, Petra Tischler. While the remarks caused visible tension in the room, Vomberg stated he was not offended and chose to view the comments with humor, noting that harsh opinions are a natural part of reality television.
