The makers of the upcoming period film ‘Devaraaya’ have announced the title and released a first-look video featuring actor Kichcha Sudeepa. The film portrays Sudeepa as the Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishna Devaraaya.

The announcement, timed with the actor’s birthday, showcases a regal appearance where Sudeepa is dressed in elaborate traditional attire, including an intricate crown and pearl jewellery. The production aims to depict the grandeur of the Vijayanagara Empire through a visually rich historical saga.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film is presented by Priya Sudeep through Supriyanvi Picture Studio. The project features a score by Gowra Hari and is scheduled for a cinema release in December 2027.
