Kick Boxing Indonesia rolls out Campus League under new chairman Ngatino

Ngatino was re‑elected as chairman of the Pengurus Pusat Kick Boxing Indonesia (PP KBI) for the 2026‑2030 term, winning by acclamation at the national congress attended by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) and the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI). He announced the launch of a Campus League, a university‑level kickboxing competition designed to broaden the talent pool and align amateur and professional pathways. Results from professional events will count toward national team selection, and a systematic athlete database will be built from school age upwards. The federation also plans a comprehensive organisational review from provincial bodies to clubs, aiming to strengthen preparation for the 2026 Defence Sports Week, the 2028 National Sports Week in East and West Nusa Tenggara, and upcoming Asian and world championships. "Our focus is to advance Indonesia’s kickboxing performance on the international stage," Ngatino said.
