Kick Resume tool measures AI impact on job tasks

Kick Resume has launched an interactive tool designed to measure how much specific job tasks are exposed to artificial intelligence. The tool analyzes 756 different professions, ranging from accounting and programming to journalism and healthcare.

The analysis utilizes data from the Anthropic Economic Index, which tracks actual AI usage in daily tasks, and matches it with the U.S. Department of Labor’s O*NET occupational information system. To provide a more accurate picture, the tool adjusts results by up to 25% based on human-centric skills that are difficult for AI to replicate, such as social interaction, creativity, and manual dexterity.

Findings indicate that computer programming leads the list, with AI appearing in approximately 75% of monitored tasks. Data entry follows at 67%, with customer service also showing high exposure. However, the reports emphasize that these percentages reflect the integration of technology into specific tasks rather than the total elimination of entire job roles. Instead, the data suggests a reshaping of work environments where organizations may focus on developing human skills that complement technological tools.
