Kick team launches Club app for creator monetization

The team behind the livestreaming platform Kick is launching a new app called Club, designed to help creators monetize their content through direct fan payments and community building. The app, which is moving out of beta this week on iOS and Android, aims to provide a ‘more human form of social media’ by focusing on discovery and community features like fan profiles and participation badges.

Club will operate without advertisements and will generate revenue by taking a 20% cut of creator payments. This fee structure is identical to OnlyFans, though Club explicitly prohibits explicit sexual content. The platform enters a competitive market alongside established services such as Patreon and Substack.

Club was founded by Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven, who also operate Kick and the crypto gambling site Stake.com. The app has already signed up approximately 3,000 creators during its beta phase, the majority of whom are livestreamers from the Kick platform.
