Kickers Emden draw 1-1 against Hannover 96 U23

Kickers Emden drew 1-1 against Hannover 96 U23, marking their second consecutive draw. The match featured an unusual start for the lead when an own goal by Hannover's Asuma Ikari in the 72nd minute gave Emden the advantage.

Despite playing with a man advantage for approximately ten minutes following a red card issued to Hannover's Karl Steinmann in the 61st minute, Emden was unable to secure the win. Tim van den Heuvel scored a penalty for Hannover in the 86th minute to equalize. Trainer Björn Lindemann expressed frustration, noting that the team performed like winners but failed to be rewarded.
