KickFlip to release new album in October as member Amaru continues hiatus

JYP Entertainment has announced that the boy group KickFlip will return with a new album in October, marking their first comeback in approximately six months. The group is currently preparing new music following their April 2026 release, ‘My First Kick’.

Regarding member Amaru, the agency confirmed he will continue his hiatus to focus on medical treatment and necessary rest. Amaru has been away from group activities since September 2025 due to psychological anxiety symptoms. Following discussions with Amaru and the other members, the agency stated that KickFlip will proceed with upcoming activities as a six-member group, consisting of Kyehoon, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon.

JYP Entertainment noted they will continue to monitor Amaru’s recovery and provide updates as they become available.
