Kid Cudi announces directorial debut and upcoming horror film

Musician and two-time Grammy winner Kid Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, has announced plans for two feature films. His directorial debut, titled ‘Doe’, is an intense drama centered on 24 hours in the life of an addict living on the streets of Los Angeles. Production for ‘Doe’ began in April, and the film is expected to premiere next year.

Mescudi also revealed that he will begin filming his second feature film in a few weeks. Described as a horror/thriller that mixes comedy with horror, the project is slated for a late summer premiere. He noted that the two films will be very different from one another.
