Kid Fox retracts remarks regarding Bobi Wine

Ugandan singer Kid Fox, real name Steven Kiggundu, has retracted previous claims that he did not know musician Bobi Wine. Following backlash from fans after he denied any connection to the artist, Kid Fox admitted in an interview with Sanyuka TV that his remarks were a tactic to gain attention. He clarified that he and Bobi Wine attended the same school and described the artist as a talented ‘brother.’

Kid Fox, who recently returned to Uganda after 14 years in Japan, has faced several controversies since his return. In addition to the Bobi Wine incident, he addressed his past relationship with media personality Straka Mwezi, describing her as a friend and fan. He also discussed his personal life, noting that his delay in having children was due to a focus on achieving financial stability, and suggested he might return to Japan if his local career does not meet his financial goals.
