Kiddie Academy educator fired after incident with child
An educator at Kiddie Academy in Parkes has been terminated following an incident on September 15 involving a young child. The incident, which was verified via CCTV, reportedly involved the educator “relocating a child by their arm.”
Sarah Brennan, the center director, stated that the facility maintains a “zero-tolerance approach” to conduct inconsistent with their policies. Following an internal review, the employee was dismissed, and the child’s parents were notified. The matter is currently under investigation by the NSW Early Learning Commission.
