KiDi launches independent label after decade with Lynx Entertainment

Ghanaian singer KiDi has announced his departure from Lynx Entertainment after ten years to launch his own independent record label. He clarified that his exit was a personal career decision following the expiration of his contract, rather than a result of financial disputes or conflict with label boss Richie Mensah. KiDi expressed gratitude for the support received during his decade-long tenure, noting that he personally informed Mensah of his decision to build his own brand.

Regarding his relationship with fellow former Lynx Entertainment artist Kuami Eugene, KiDi stated that while there is professional respect for his talent and artistry, they are not personal friends. He noted that sharing a workplace does not necessitate a personal bond. While KiDi confirmed upcoming collaborations with King Promise, he remained non-committal regarding future projects with Kuami Eugene, though he did not rule them out.
