Fatal traffic accidents reported in Głogów Małopolski and Katowice

Multiple fatal traffic accidents have been reported in Poland. In Głogów Małopolski, a head-on collision between a BMW and a Kia on National Road 9 (DK9) resulted in two deaths. The driver and a passenger of the Kia died at the scene, while a second Kia passenger and the BMW driver were transported to hospitals, with one being airlifted by the Air Ambulance Service (LPR).

In Katowice, a 36-year-old bus driver struck a pedestrian at a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Mikołowska and Słowackiego streets. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital but later died. Preliminary findings suggest the pedestrian was crossing legally. This incident follows two other pedestrian accidents in Katowice within the same 24-hour period.

Authorities and prosecutors are investigating the circumstances of both the highway collision and the urban bus accident.
