Kielux announces program for 24th Open Source and Linux Days

Kielux Open Source Linux Presentation Day Free Software Digitalization

The 24th Kiel Open Source and Linux Days (Kielux) has announced its program for September 2026 in Kiel, Germany. The event includes the Linux Presentation Day on September 17, which focuses on transitioning from Windows to Linux and finding software alternatives.

The main event will take place on September 18 and 19. The program features 42 lectures and nine on-site workshops covering topics such as AI setups, Rust, SQL databases, and server management. Lectures will be available both in person and via live stream.

On the second day, September 19, the presentations will be opened by Dirk Schrödter, the Schleswig-Holstein Minister for Digital and Media Policy and Chief of the State Chancellery.
