Kienlongbank workforce decreases by nearly 30% in one quarter

Kienlongbank (HOSE: KLB) experienced a significant reduction in its workforce during the third quarter of 2026. According to consolidated financial reports, the total number of employees at the bank and its subsidiary fell to 2,596 as of September 30, representing a 29.3% decrease from the 3,674 employees reported at the end of the second quarter.

At the parent bank level, staff numbers dropped from 3,375 at the end of Q2 to 2,589 in Q3, a loss of 786 employees in a single quarter. The remaining reduction occurred at its sole subsidiary, Kienlongbank Debt Management and Asset Exploitation Co., Ltd., where personnel fell from 299 to just 7 employees.
