Kieran Hayler faces trial for alleged sexual assaults of a teenager

Kieran Hayler, 39, is appearing at Lewes Crown Court to face three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault involving a 13-year-old girl in West Sussex during 2016. Hayler denies all charges.

Media personality Katie Price has arrived at the court to provide evidence. She testified that she was ‘really shocked’ by the allegations and had previously confronted Hayler about the matter, though she could not recall his specific response. Price noted that during the period the alleged incidents occurred, she was experiencing a personal breakdown and receiving treatment at the Priory.

The defense has argued that the allegations are fabricated and part of a campaign launched by Price following the breakdown of their marriage. The complainant’s mother also provided evidence to the court. The investigation into the matter began in 2021 after a referral from the NSPCC.
