Reports regarding a potential move for Liverpool winger Kieran Morrison to the Dutch Eredivisie side FC Groningen have been met with conflicting information.

Initial reports suggested that Groningen was targeting the 19-year-old for a loan move to bolster their squad with natural wingers, noting his impressive pre-season performances and senior goal for Liverpool.

However, Dutch journalist Stefan Bleeker has dismissed these claims, stating that talk of Groningen's interest in the Northern Ireland international is ‘not true’ and that the club currently has no interest in signing him. While Liverpool views Morrison as a player with significant potential, he is not considered a central part of manager Andoni Iraola’s immediate plans, leaving the possibility of a temporary move elsewhere to facilitate his development open.
