Authorities have summoned 226 individuals, with 144 testing positive for drugs. The investigation has resulted in the criminal prosecution of 147 people. Notable among those detained is Meritorious Artist Kieu Thi Thanh, who has been arrested and detained for illegal drug trafficking. Police reported that Thanh had been selling drugs to fund her own usage and frequently hosted drug use at her home.

During the crackdown, law enforcement encountered violent resistance from ringleaders, including an incident where a suspect attempted to escape by driving a vehicle into officers, necessitating warning shots. Total seizures include over 22 kg of various drugs, one firearm, and nearly 900 pieces of drug-related paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing to identify all participants and the primary sources of the narcotics.
